During these last four years, albeit on a voluntary basis, the Saint Lazarus Foundation succeeded in securing supported employment for 30%+ of its beneficiaries. For the past four years, by means of its Believe in Me Project, the Saint Lazarus Foundation has been in the forefront in raising awareness for the need to create a sustainable national supported employment program for the vulnerable a dream which came true in June 2015. Funds were also raised and sent to various international non-governmental organisations and Hospices operating outside Malta. In its years of operation the Foundation donated more than €200,000 to worthy registered philanthropic organisations throughout Malta and Gozo. The Foundation was established in Malta in January 2004. It is the charitable arm of the Grand Priories of Malta and Gozo of the Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem, an international chivalric organisation operating in 71 countries with its Supreme Grand Priory based in Scotland. The Saint Lazarus Foundation is a fully registered organisation as per the laws of Malta and Gozo with its offices in Zebbug, Malta, with other premises on the islands. ![]()
